Hi...
Stumbled on to your forum while doing some research on the Super T. I am 'very' interested! I looked throughout the forum but could not find the answer to a couple of questions, so please forgive if I missed it. Wanted to know (and no, I havent talked to a Yamaha dealer) if one will always have to 'order' this particular model or will they eventually be on the showroom floors? Also (and I know I missed this one somewhere) how long is the wait? From what I've read in the past couple of days, it appears that the Super T is just now starting to arrive to those who ordered in the U.S. Thanks in advance and I'm sorry if I missed this information elsewhere.

Welcome aboard!!!! There "may" be a few on showroom floors in the case where the dealer ordered in their own name. I would not expect to find any "deals" though. Those that are due for delivery in the coming weeks are ones that were ordered as part of the PDP.

Good luck!!

Yammy announced an extended delay after the earthquake disaster and offered current PDP customers the opportunity to cancel their order and receive a full refund. You just may be able to find a dealer or two that has a canceled PDP bike coming in that you can take. Jeff Hoebster had mentioned that his dealer in Seattle may have one, and I think there may be a few available in Texas. Check back here over the next couple of days and you just might find that someone has posted info on one somewhere. Good Luck!

Europe .... Made in Texas
Yamaha UK had internet order only for something like 9 months ... You can now buy them off of the shop floor. I would imagine that it will also happen in the US within a year.

If you're in San Diego area, check with Vey's Powersports. They may have an extra one on order.
90 minutes north, so close enough to make that call. Thanks for the info!

soeboot44, do you have something worked out with Vey's? If not, Southbay may have an extra. I am picking mine up there today. Keep in touch with us and maybe we can meet up after the bikes are here.
