Hello,

I picked up a 2016 yellow S10 just a week ago (non-ES). I now have about 250 miles on it and just did an oil change. I'll get the first service done at the dealer at 600 miles (included in the negotiations).

The more I ride this bike, the more I like it. My other ride is a wr250r and it was pretty odd going back and forth between them today. I have the WRR dialed in for ergonomics, which is a priority for me on the S10. I found that my tire pressure was low coming from the dealer (not terrible, but below the lower psi). I put it to the higher psi and found that the suspension feel was much improved - less harsh. Probably letting the shocks do their job with as bouncy a tire.

I'm finding the wind turbulence to be absurd around my helmet, but at least it's manageable with the right farkles. I have a Madstad bracket on order and will see what that does. Then winglets, then probably a different windscreen. I'm finding the seat to be so-so and on the high position, where I like it for my legs; it's a lot of work on my upper body - the handlebars aren't quite where they need to be for a neutral riding position (need slightly higher a further back). I'm a whisker over 6 feet and have a 33 inch inseam. I'm used to the height of the WRR, so don't mind a little stretch to the ground. I flat foot on the lower seat setting.

Altrider crashbars are on order. I'll add the skid plate down the road. Many more farkles to come. I want to thank the forum for being an invaluable asset during my research on the S10 and where to head with upgrades. I'm sure to have many more questions than answers to start, but hope to be able to become a good resource for others down the road.

Cheers,
Eville Rich

Welcome and congrats on the Tenere. I'm 6'1" and have been using the V stream windshield with Madstad bracket and winglets, works very well for me.
