I would like to thank in timeline order, Hollingl for the gravel rides this spring in Arizona. Bob and Jon among others for the gravel last year in Custer. And my friend Troy (who was wading in the Arctic Ocean today) for the week camping at his place and riding gravel in the Driftless area.

I will miss that type of riding.

Hey bigbob, if you are selling your S10, then what are you going to replace it with?
Too old to ride gravel and such by myself. While I knew I shouldn’t I still did because I love doing it. Got caught a couple times this spring in Arizona where I had to wait for help to come along. Not good on a road with 20 vehicles a day.

We also bought a new toy hauler with a tiny garage so only one bike at a time. Since my wife will only ride the Venture (Yamaha full bagger with electric reverse) that one stays.

Almost an oops. The venture fits in the garage with 3” to spare. Surprise the first time I loaded it!!!

Off with his head!! :D
I was talking about yours . . . . selling the Tenere. :D
That’s illegal! I need a Texas cop to protect me!!
Sierra1 , aren't you an old Texas cop ?
Thank you for noticing. :D But, I did say "old school" . . . . not necessarily old. :D
Oh my mistake. I did not ask for an OLD school retired cop to protect me from a cop who wants to off me for selling the 10.

Sometimes choices have to be made. Glad to hear you are still riding! Feel free to stick around and share your traveling in a thread you start yourself, like in “other bikes”.

Happy travels Bob!

We will miss you on those roads, but there is nothing wrong with pavement either. I still liked filling your boots with water! I am getting more leary about rough solo riding when there is little traffic and no cell reception, especially when I've been riding hard and getting tired.

By the way, where is the new owner from, and is he on the forum?

Totally forgot that “shallow” water crossing. Good ride.

New owner is in Central Iowa and lives across the street from member Lstayner. (You now have to be careful with Larry. He totally sold my bike. So he is now a used bike salesman. We all know about them!!) I will let Larry bring him here.
