You have an amazing profile. Have you documented your one and a half million miles anywhere?

Do you have a website I would like to read more about your journey and accomplishments ?

I gather from your post you are or were a Honda sponsored rider

Looking forward to learning more

MillionMileRider I personally think you missed the most important thing about this site, is making new friends. And its Bill310 not Bob310.

I live on the West coast, and that is about as much info about my whereabouts as you really want to know. If any of you are familiar with Michael Kneebone, the president of the IBA, Michael knows me very well, and he too has a Super Tenere on order (or so he tells me). Michael Kneebone will also be doing some test riding for Honda on the new 2012 VF1200X Cross Tourer.
I do have an S10 on order, and I can tell you it is a motorcycle, that is about it. To think it is going to change the world is naive. In six months we will all be complaining about it's short comings. I am lucky that I have gotten to ride the S10 back to back against the BMW R1200GS and Suzuki V-Strom (and a couple of others, but those were the two that interested me) and you can scream and yell all you want, but the GS is the more polished of the bikes. Where the S10 will (hopefully) rule is in reliability (in my opinion and prayers anyway) and less costly maintenance.

In terms of the Cross Tourer, I am blessed to have some sources of information, but I am not doing any testing for Honda (wish I was!).

Re: 2012 Super Tenere on order, already sold my Varadero and Africa twin

It's great that there are now more options than the obvious GS. In the next 12 months we should see even more bikes enter the fray. The new Honda V4X and the new Triumph Tiger 1200 will be on my list for extended demo rides. I was the first of all my riding buddies to "go ADV", and even though i don't use the S10 to it's design limits (i don't even go off road!) then i still love the durability, practicality and general fun of the type of bike it is.

Happy days indeed!
