My AGV full-synthetic/mesh summer gloves are starting to deteriorate after three years. They were, admittedly, quite cheap. Now that I'm looking for replacements, I'm looking for recommendations: I need a glove suited to riding in very hot weather (over 95F), and potentially heavy rain. I don't care if my hands get wet, I just don't want the gloves to fall apart if they get wet too often. I'm leery of leather, because my past experience has been that leather gloves that get wet eventually tend to harden and crack, even with care, because the leather has to be fairly thin to be used in a glove.

1625000775872.png These are what I'm using now. They're $16 from amazon: WTACTFUL Touch Screen Motorcycle Full Finger Gloves. They're my second pair. The last pair was black, and they make cammo. They lasted about 12-18 months, and used daily. They're very comfortable, and breathable. This is Texas, so heat is most of the time.

EDIT: I just noticed that these are not the exact same as I wear. The wrist strap on mine is better. The rest of the glove looks the same. If you search the highlighted description on Amazon, it will bring up mine exactly. Couldn't get that picture to save.

Try the Revit ones, good price/quality.
Kangaroo leather, extremely durable.
And very well ventilated gloves.
Wear them for four years already.
Shape to your hands “like gloves”

I also found these: Mechanix Wear: FastFit Covert Tactical Work Gloves. I've worn other Mechanix gloves with good results. 1625002327656.png

I wore a similar pair of these ACE Hardware gloves for about 3 years almost everyday on the bike. Nice mesh back with padded palms. I got them on sale for about $20. They have them in Deer skin as well as a thinner goat skin. I still wear them when working in the yard. No I don't for for ACE.

It's stupid hot where I live as well and I love my Cortech Sonic Flow gloves. I got mine on Amazon. Worth every penny.

You might also check out motorcyclecloseouts.com. They have great closeout deals. My friend picked up some gloves by Noru at a crazy cheap price and he loves them.

i have a couple pair of Held gloves and they have goatskin palms, supposedly goatskin doesn’t get damaged by rain. The held gloves are my favorites for riding in the rain, the older pair must have way over 200,000 miles of use. But I wouldn’t recommend them as a great glove for hot weather because mine have pretty long cuffs but I’m sure they have different models made for hot weather.

I use the Held Summertime 2 glove. So comfortable.

Goatskin is very well known for enduring water very well
Agreed. Their use of goatskin is why I favor Cortech gloves.I have had the same set of Cortech Scarab winter gloves for over 10 years. They have been soaked to the bone on several occasions and are still in great shape. I expect my summer Cortech Sonic-Flo to hold up just as well.

I use Rukka summer gloves. I didn’t bother with waterproof Goretex etc as using heated grips in wet weather defeats Goretex and your hands get soaked anyway.

Well, to update, I ended up ordering a set of Klim Induction gloves. I think, though, that I may end up also buying a set of inexpensive full-synthetics later, as I do expect to eventually be doing riding in a severely wet (monsoon) climate, where I would have to ride in the rain for weeks. The Inductions will be the go-to for US summer riding and non-monsoon hot-weather riding.

The gloves arrived today. I bought the size Large, per the manufacturer's size chart, and they're a bit snug. The fingers in particular are kind of short. The sole measurement point, the distance around the hand just below the knuckles, fits the way the chart indicates, but the entire rest of the glove still feels tight. Oddly, I have fairly square, thick hands with proportional fingers, rather than long thin pianist hands, so if anything my hands should have indicated a bigger size.

In any case, the gloves are actual leather, so they will hopefully stretch and break in over time. I'll be doing a ride this weekend, so we'll see how they do.
