Well, I finally pulled the trigger and spent a ridiculous amount of money to buy givi trekker bags. I bought the 48 L pack left and right, and the 42 L top case. Overall width is approximately 44 1/2 inches. Not sure if everyone is aware or not, but make sure the threads are completely clean before threading in the new bolts for the saddlebag racks. It’s a fine thread and will strip very easily. How do I know that?? you will also have to buy a longer bolt for the left saddlebag mount by the foot peg. I bought a half-inch longer bolt to make sure it fit in properly. Also, the racks must be installed very, very loosely otherwise, it will be difficult to put the rear support brace that runs between both frames together.
