I've just install Givi S250 Toolbox kit for my Givi Trekker Outback side pannier rack.

Didn't see any thread regarding this, so i just wanna share, how it looks like on S10.

Well, i could say this is not just plug&play kind of parts. MIGHT need some minor mods adjustment.
Ditto. & also frm SG:

no major fitting issue/problem other than a screw thread inbetween the tube that had to use a bit of elbow grease & WD40 to coax the longer bold in.

another notable mention would be the key access as need a bit of twiddling to slot key & rmv/slot back the cover.

Thanks for sharing all the details. Looks perfect.
Can't figure the reason why Givi doesn't say the Universal Mount fits the S10 even if we have to do some ajustments.
I'm ordering my set for Xmas

Here is some adjustment i do to fit my needs.

1. Get my mech to cut/resize one the spare key.

2. Add a spacer to the center rack bar, so the key will not get obstruct by it.

3. Shift the center plate slightly to the right. (by doing so, you cant mount on the bottom screw to the rack)

This way, is much easier for me to remove the cover with no restriction and remove toolbag etc with ease.

UPDATE: Givi website finally says that S250 Universal mount kit fits Super Ténéré - all years.

I couldn't wait for Xmas and ordered from Motostorm the Givi Toolbox and the Universal Kit.
Assembling is straightforward. No issues at all (just a bit tight to put key in and out). All the nuts are nylocks but put some threadlock just in case.

Would be nice if they provided the tightening torque values for the nuts and bolts especially the bottom mushrooms (they're prone to snap if over tightened ).

Thank you guys for the replies. ::008::

Next will be the 5 lock set to match 3 cases and toolbox (and one for the new givi tankbag with security lock)

I checked the site and it only lists the mount for the crash guard for the Super Tenere. The reason is if you check you will find you only have 6.5" of clearance from the top of the caliper to the bottom of the tool box. The bike has 7.5" of travel which means if you hit a real good bump the caliper will hit the tool box. Not a good situation.
I have one mounted on my bike but made brackets to move the tool box up 1". To mount it without moving it up is unsafe.

I contacted them and they advise against it due to clearance issues. That is why I raised mine when I installed it. As is you only have 6.5" room from the top of the rear caliper to the bottom of the tool box. The bike has 7.5" of suspension travel. After raising mine as far as I could I have 7 9/16" of clearance.

Super 08, I like how you added that 1 inch needed... but as i try to look at the photo you attached, I cannot see what you used to attach the tab up 1 inch... the photo shows a smaller nut/bolt to fit the upper portion of the box. Also, did you create those tabs? I am really trying to replicate your design. Thanks, NPJ

P.S.- I have family just south of you in Edmonton AB- but haven't been up there since 1981 !!

I have the OEM side cases and am planning to get the Givi Tool Box and bolt it directly to the right side case (since there is no supporting frame for the OEM side cases). Only downside is that both stay in or both get out together. I'm not sure if it works (though I think it should). Let's see how it goes.

I see you found my post in the thread I started. You are good to go then I take it.
Hi Super08 i tried to search for your own thread on the subject but i did not succeed :(

As i would also be interested in the solution you applied for adding the 1" clearance could you be so kind to point to that thread please ?

Thanks in advance

Hi guys, I went a slightly different route when mounting my toolbox. I wanted to mount it on the inside of the givi luggage racks in the void on the right hand side (when looking at the bike from behind). I thought it was a good safe spot, and would add a sense of 'balance' to the exhaust on the other side. Rather than using a frame adaptor, I went for a direct-mount to the givi frame. I drilled 3 holes in the givi frame for an M8 threaded bolt (or 1/4" depending where you are). These lined up with the mounting holes positioned on the tool box. I mounted the box slightly forward on the rack so the front two vertical holes would mount to the front vertical support of the frame. In doing so, there is plenty of clearance between the back of the rack, the tail light, and the tool box door. In fact you can open the door completely and easily without touching anything. The trick is to manoeuvre your hand in there to get the key in the slot. I have bulky hands but can get it to work fine. The rear bottom mount is attached to the frame using a piece of 3/16 aluminum I cut from some scrap I had here. Everything is offset from the frame by approx. 1/4". Despite only being attached with 3 mounting points it is rock solid. I have no apprehensions of packing it full of tools and hitting rough terrain. The tool box is structurally very solid and supports itself in that regard. I've attached a number of pics that show my solution. Apologies everything is dirty, I don't clean the bike all that much since it's been wet here lately. Hope this may help someone looking for an alternative!

mmm...there was long discussion up above here on the interference with the rear brake caliper assembly (...not the mention the world-crosser alu plate you have over there)

It looks what you did isn't providing the needed (or discussed above) clearance.
It seems to be hanged too low...

It is low, however, it's mounted so tight to the inside of the rack that it clears part of the brake assembly. BUT, as noted, since I have the worldcrosser brake protection in place, in principal it could hit the bottom of the toolbox. That said, I have my suspension sprung quite firmly, and also have 20mm linkage risers installed (I am tall so wanted the maximum suspension height I could get within reason). All this to say, I've not experienced any interference yet and I've been on the roughest terrain I'm ever likely to travel. I just checked and, interestingly, the front of the toolbox has the same clearance from th brake assembly that the front of the exhaust has from the swingarm.
