As we have all seen in Canada by now, riding season is around the corner. What are us northern riders doing to get ready for the season? Post pics of new mods\tires\windscreens or even graphics or just say what city and province your from.

I personally picked up a new seat, windshield deflector, and a set of Shinko 705 tires (Mitas e07 sold out) I will post pics when done!

I'm ready, as I rode to Port Dover on Friday the 13th. About 600 to 800 bikes with lots of riders coming and going.
It was 5C in Stratford Ontario and as I rode south temps increased to 10C in Dover.

Not bad at all! I'm just west of Ottawa but the temps are still too cold.
Yes, Ottawa is quite a bit north of Stratford.
Something to be aware of: temperatures below or less than 6C = tyres lose grip, so no gassing it in the corners, braking is less effective as well, so take it easy.

I bought and installed new bags for the beast. Also installed LED headlights and fabricated extended dust cap covers.
LED headlights, a great add on.
Yammy really went cheap with lightning on the Tenere, halogen lights WTF??
I have a suggestion, install additional LED lights to give your bike additional profile.
So cagers can see you.

Yup, that's the way. The extra lights give your bike a profile and greatly improves the ability of others to see you. Cagers are less likely to turn or pull out in front of you.
