Tom, I received your brackets and mounted them on my Tenere with winglets and am happy how they worked out. Great design!! I can see my GPS now, no blurring from vibrations!
Thanks.......Don

Yes no worries with the pins no longer locking. I just snug my two adjusters down like I always did and they don't move at all.

Can’t say enough good things about Tom and his very simple and inexpensive product - the Windscreen Brace.

I received the well packaged Braces yesterday. I was sitting on the fence in buying these braces. But after situating my GPS on the Nav Bar, while the vibrations were not distracting - for the long run - I thought it better to buy and install these Braces.

Braces are supplied with all the hardware you’ll need. Including longer capscrews in case Winglets have been installed. Very clear and simple (idiot proof!) instructions.

This has to get the vote for the best ‘must have’ farkle for the Super Tenere

Thanks Tom !

Would these work with a 2013 with the Touratech adjustable windshield mount?
Seems like the cross bar is about in the same area as the stock bar on the 2014+

I doubt they would fit. It is not the location of the crossbar that matters, it is the location of the sliding mount itself. If the location or angle has changed from stock at all they wouldn't fit.

Tom,

I sent a check to your address posted on page 1 for a set of these braces.

Thank you. ::014::
Sounds good. I have a bunch ready to go, and more just back from the powder coater.

I installed the superbrace this past weekend and for sure it definitely makes the windscreen and the whole front super tight and stiff. I love it. I don't have anything to mount onto the bar but I do appreciate not seeing the windscreen vibrate at stop lights and bending in the wind!

With that in mind, what is the diameter of the bar in the middle? What are some fun accessories to install on there... I already have a phone and GPS mounted with Ram mounts on the bars...
