Hello,
Took the bike all the way apart to do that valves, went to plug the tanks eletrical conectins back in but the one plug is green and the other white. I don't know which is which - Can anyone please help. Service book is useless, just says one is the send and one the pump but no color code.

I want to try to fire it up and am afraid to turn it on with the wrong plugs connected.

Thanks in advance!
Mike

I don't recall this being an issue. I've had the tank off many times and installed a different tank as well. As Tenman said, I believe the connectors are not swap able. If they plugged in fine, fire it up. You'll know it's ok when you turn the key on and hear the fuel pump.

Thanks guys, you know how it is after you ripped the whole bike apart. I didn't want to screw something up on the last step, was also afraid of shorting out something. Thank you for the sanity check :)

Save yourself the grief next time & take pics of everything, as you strip the bike back for the job; it's simple enough, with a modern phone. Isn't 20:20 hindsight a wonderful thing.

Seriously, you are right to be cautious - better safe than sorry.

Yeah silly thing is I have had it part before, actually a lot since I am always Messi g with something. I could. It remember ever unplugging those plugs though. All I could think of was frying something in the tank and having more work to do, even though it looked safe looking at the wiring diagram.

Hilariously I took pictures of a lot of the disassembly to remember where some of the wires and stuff were bundled, but assumed I would remember the plugs for the tank I guess

Of course my new spark plugs showed up two days after I put the whole thing back together too!

The issue some have had is the injector and coil plugs are the same. I think it's the right injector where the wires are the same length.
