i have a 2013 gen 1 with oem mounted harness for oem spots under headlight, problem i have is i sold the 2 halogen spots awhile back,, and the 2 leads under the headlight i covered one lead up, and other lead i mounted a led light bar under neath in the same place the spots were, now this worked all good right up till yesterday.
now what i have done is this, i have pulled the lead off the light bar, that was working, got the other lead out that was buried, so now have the 2 leads ready to mount 2 new spots, now these leads are black and one white either side, problem i now have is the 2 new lamps that have halogen bulbs in like the oem i had fitted , black lead to negative in the lamp white to postive bulb, both new lights will not power on, i have revered the black and white wires on the bulbs still nothing, i took the 2 new lamps off and put the one cable i had wired to the light bar back as it was and the light bar will now not come on either.
the piaa switch on the handle bar turns on and off ok, as in the green light comes on, but nothing coming throught to the lights, i have checked the fuses in the 2 small fuse boxes they look ok,
does the gen 1 oem halogen spots have a fuse or something else that may have gone
