New to me 2012 S10. Absolutely love the bike. Had a super slight pulsation in the front brake, so I bought new rotors/pads (all OEM). Took off the old rotors, and only half a bolt came out of one of the holes on the left of the hub. Had a machine shop drill out the bottom of the bolt and re-tap the hole to an M6 (stock thread). Tried putting the stock bolt in, and then a longer bolt with a thin head that clears the fork. Currently torqued only to 15NM, as it feels like it wants to spin free after that. So now, I find my self shopping for either an entire hub assembly, or a whole new front wheel. I'm in Raleigh, NC.

Also a question - doe anyone know if the hub listed on Partzilla or Babbits is a hub assembly? Or just the hub?

It's just the hub. The parts diagram would show it with a list of parts surrounded by a line if it was an assembly.

See your other post for the link to a used one on ebay.

I have a hub with the bearings and seals for 150.00 US. I purchase a used 2013 wheel for the rim.

I'd helicoil it and call it good.
I believe that was the consensus in his other thread, and he actually had a helicoil and tool in his garage.

Sorry for the length of time in the replies - I did helicoil it, as recommended. I no longer need a front hub, but thank you to everyone for replying.
