Hello, I am trying to sell my Garmin Zumo 595LM GPS and 2 awesome Touractech mounts. $600 shipped.

The GPS
  • Garmin 595LM - I'm not going to re-hash the details of this GPS. It's a good model, and has both pros & cons. If you want a review of the GPS, Google around and there are plenty. I personally like it, but I'm moving on.
  • It's about 2.5 years old, in perfect running shape with no blemishes at all.
  • An anti-glare screen sticker has been installed (can't remember which brand). It does help viewing in direct sunlight, but no day and night difference.
  • All original parts and documentation in the box included. There are some various RAM mounts (that I never used) and the automobile cradle.
  • This model does include lifetime updates, and I did have a chat with a Garmin support representative this morning to confirm that it's transferable. All I have to do is unregister the device from my account (which I will do at time of sale), then the new owner can register the device with Garmin connect. A screenshot of the chat is below.
The Mounts
  • 2 (yes two), complete Touratech locking mounts with wiring for power. One has an in-line fuse and those other does not, as it was connected to a fuse block.
  • This will allow for a complete 2 bike GPS solution - all that you need to do is pop the GPS unit from one cradle to the other.
  • 3 cradle covers for weather protection. I don't know how I wound up with 3, but I did.
Cost including shipping to the lower 48 (USPS Priority Mail) is $600. I prefer PayPal, but will entertain other payment options. I have about $1100 into this kit, so I think this is a fair deal. Feel free to make offers, but I'm not interested in giving this away. I live in Normal, IL (61761), in case someone would like a local pickup. I'd like to sell this as a complete kit, as opposed to breaking it up. So for now I will not entertain offers for individual pieces of this package. This is also posted on other forums. Thanks for looking!

A question was asked about the anti-vibe qualities and the bar mounts on the Touratech mounts. The rubber cushions are circled in red and the bar mounts are in yellow. Hope that makes sense.

I don't know how many good deals I've missed by not logging on here often enough. This could have given me an excuse to visit my old birthplace in Normal. My family moved from there to Texas in 1953 (mom said that was the last time I was a Normal boy). We visited there in 1956 when I was 9 and that's the last time I saw it. No way I'd recognize anything there now.
