Starter relay (solenoid) is just above the battery, just pull the caps back and make sure the nuts are tight. You can confirm the CCT upgrade by looking at it. If it has 2BS on the face, it’s an updated part.

Doesn't true "starter fluid" damage sensors? Maybe sensors that keep the motor from running? If I use a spray to help start a motor, I use a sensor safe cleaning fluid. Does the same thing without risk of damage.
Starter fluid is very dry and volatile and is intended for old diesel engines.
I have seen damage sensors but worst engine cylinder walls and valves. Using starting fluid doesn't show or prove anything other then your desperate, its not a diagnostic technique in any skilled legit shop.
