They're different... definitely not 'oh my, that's comfy'. But I've found on long, 600+ mile days a bead rider is the best thing I've tried -- much better than my sheepskin. Maybe not as good as a $750 custom seat but, I'm too cheap to find outPut it on for about a tank full. Really didn’t appeal to me, might be my skinny butt. Of course, my padding is not as firm as it use to be either.
