Bike is hedded ta NC with new owner

This bike is just as nice as any new showroom model.
The Tracer GT comes with cruise control as standard...along with side cases & other niceities. Electronic upshift assist too. These are wonderful bikes... Has added Givi Crash Guards...a Givi QuikLoc tankbag mount ring... & some Tusk riser blocks. There is also a battery tender lead attached.

The bike was purchased new in Irving & has had full synthetic Motul oil & filter changed by the dealer in Killeen.
Includes 4 keys
Less than 1700 miles on the bike. Its fun & nimble... Priced at... $9800 NO TRADES

TRUTH:
The Tracer belongs to a good friend of mine here in Waco. He doesnt use the internet forums much so Im tryin ta help him sell the bike.

There is a brand new set of Sargent seats if wanted...for a small extra $$.
& I have some Givi type quick release tank bags available too.

Also...
FJR1300 rubber footpegs slip right on & are available for not much $$ on the web20200225_142651.jpg20200225_142443.jpg20200225_142111.jpg20200225_141047.jpg20200225_141111.jpg20200225_142734.jpg20200225_143014.jpg20200225_142943.jpg20200225_143002.jpg20200225_142717.jpg

Almost 100 views...& not 1 reply...until mine now....wrong crowd
I think you're right. It's more of an FJR-light. Most that leave the FJR, end up here. (on a Tenere) To me, this is a transition bike. From an "R" or FZ/MT to a grown-up bike.

Have both, FJR and S-10. I take the S-10 with us on a lift behind the M/H while south in the winter. The Tracer is lighter and have thought it might be nice as pushing the S-10 around while loading and un-loading is getting harder at close to being 69. The whole chain deal sucks tho.........

I used to think that about my FJ & Tenere. Nowadays? I can't remember the last time I rode the FJ. The Tenere is just so easy to ride.

I’m trying to wait till spring before I do any replacing. It’s a good thing you’re not closer.

Only 1 mfg I kno of belives in total shaftiness regardless of engine size...
Guzzi.
Honda did flirt with it on a mid size recently ...the NT700V...great bike but kinda tame on power. Before that it was all the way bac to the 90s for a Pacific Coast 800 & Suzukis VX800...both good bikes.
None of these anywhere near the Tracers capability tho.

Yeah...like they did on all those 80s bikes

Seca 750 comes to mind....advertizin PeeWee Gleason takin it thru the 1/4 mile with numbers that rivaled many "hot" bikes of that time... Old argument. END

Nope. I have an '86 FJ 1200. Love the bike, the Vance & Hines exhaust sound wonderful. But, it doesn't hold a candle to the Tenere. . . . unless I just want to ride a missile.
Personally....I have a 14 Strom 1000 as a 2nd bike....its very similar ..yet different enuff than the Ten. I like ridin each bike equally....but the Ten is the traveller for me. The Strom is for day/weekend rides. (it doesnt have cruise)
The Tracer does....Ive been tempted as a 2nd bike to the Ten

Do you know if the emissions sticker specifically says it meets California emissions requirements?
