I know. Buy a manual. I plan to. In the mean time, would someone please give me the torque specs for the front brake caliper mounting bolts? Can't find it on search. 2016 model if it matters. Thank you.

Nothing wrong with using a torque wrench on most fasteners. However, it's important to understand what torque values are spec'd for. In 90% of applications, it's simply so the fastener doesn't fall off due to being under tightened, or snap off due to being over tightened.

The brake caliper mounting bolts just need to be tight. Snug up, then a bit more. If your hand is hurting on the wrench, it's too tight. If you didn't go 1/8 turn or more past first contact with the mating part, it's probably too loose.

And in case Oldrider's post goes away for showing a part of the FSM, it's 29 ft/lbs. Which isn't very tight. :)

If Yamaha wants to sue me for sharing that little bit of info, tell them to send the lawyers on down to KY.
