Dropping in to break the ice and say "Hi" to the fellow ST owners on the forum.

A few weeks ago I sold my 05 Shadow Sabre and used the money to pick up a 2012 Super Tenere that was all decked out in great shape with only 21,000 miles. I haven't been riding motorcycles to long, only about 4 years or so but took to it like a duck to water.

I also have a 2015 DRZ 400sm that I've converted to more of an off road capable machine with the addition of some 50/50 tires and other farkles. I picked up DRZ after selling my first bike, a 2009 Yamaha TW200. That was a fun little mule of a bike and great to learn on.

Before all of that I've spent a lot of time on a mountain bike. That has lent itself to learning to handle a motorcycle on the trails.

I'm looking forward to spending time on the S10 and exploring roads that the limited range and comfort of the DRZ would not let me reach and to learning more from the group.

It’s a Motek City tank bag, probably the larger one. They lock into a ring around the tank filler, they are great, I run the smaller one! Very handy and don’t mark the tank and no ugly straps!!

Chevys were S10. In general I think that the GMCs were just a touch nicer. Mine was about as base as they came. No a.c., standard transmission, no power steering, am/fm radio.

I didn't know if I'd like a tank bag, I thought it would be distracting, but it has been one of the best accessories that came with the bike. It can hold a surprising amount of stuff.
