24 mm. But if you have a 6 point 15/16" socket, it's a closer fit and less likely to cause damage to the cap. Remember to loosen the fork tube pinch bolts first!

Try not to use a 12 point socket, as they tend to slip more easily, but if ya gotta, ya gotta, just take it slow.

Red Cat - What nut are you looking at? I'm not seeing anything on the forks that large for the Super Ten. My '12 bike's fork caps, (not the smaller adjuster nuts), are 24 mm or 15/16". 1 1/8 would be way oversize.

Hey, my screw up. Was thinking you meant the top triple clamp nut between the bar clamps.
