Has anyone seen foot peg lowering kits around for the S10? SW Motech has pegs that can lower 0.6 inches, but I want more drop and don't need new pegs. I had the Motorcycle Larry's kit on my VStrom and I really liked it, but I don't see anything on his website for the S10. It seems like the pegs on the S10 are further forward (slightly) than on the VStrom. I wish they were back a bit further and slightly lower.

I have the SW-Motech and on the low position they are lower than stock - and scrape pretty easily. I put them in the high position.

Anything lower is going to be scraping a lot - unless you ride the thing like it's a cruiser! :D

I put Fastway F5 pegs on in the low position, and they have more clearance than stock. Not necessarily a good thing - rode the Dragon Friday, and the left peg needs a feeler - something else (sidetsand or centerstand?) scrapes before the peg does.

Chris, do you know the model number for the Fastway pegs you installed or where you bought them?

I'm not sure of the model number offhand - I pulled them off my 800 GS before I sold it, so whatever model number of the Fastway F5 that works for the GS is it.

I think I got them online somewhere - they were about $150. Money well spent for the GS, but I am considering the lower pegs from Twisted Throttle - peg surface dimensions appear to be the same, but I think they might give me a bit more leg room. I guess other option is an aftermarket seat that is a bit taller, but that doesn't help with the peg/bar relationship.

I already have the seat in the highest position (with the slope modification done) and am using a 3/4 inch gel pad and an Airhawk. I put the gel pad inside of the Airhawk cover and it fits perfectly. I was thinking about modding the stock seat and inserting the gel pad, but I'm happy with the current set-up for now. Playing more with the seat height will introduce just another variable into the handlebar set up. It's hard enough making one change at a time and trying to measure the results! If I could find the Motech pegs for less than the $159 twisted throttle is asking, I may go for those too. Thanks for your help!
