Man o man am I behind.........

I did a bunch of research about KLR (I think) foot pegs being a direct fit for my 2012 ST. Never ordered them, kind alike my in reach (Sorry Uncle Bob, u 2 John). Getting ready to travel for work so hoping someone can point me correctly. AM I right? Did i remember correctly?

I need to dump the factory pegs and go for a cost effective (screw you TT) replacement.

Thanks fellas

I would go with those IMS 2 pegs that are on sale here. Great price!! I love mine. Lots of room to move around and very comfortable.

I just measured my 2017 KLR pegs and they are 22mm wide and the S10 looks to be about 25mm. You might grind them down and get them to fit, but not a direct replacement.

$225.00?!?!?!
Not only that, I had a simple drop in my driveway and ended up using cutting wheel to remove the peg, re-weld it and bend the frame mount. On the upside these are super comfortable. Hell, just the shifter was over 200 bucks!

Thankfully my mediocre fab skills with inverter welder, grinder and file made it good as new!

Just an example to show even though the oem pegs are different widths, some manufactures still use the same peg while others may have two different part numbers. I wouldn't pay that for pegs.

I had these pegs and a bunch of other stuff factored into the total cost of bike before it was purchased.

I’m very thankful I didn’t have to get the steering damper mount (I have a spare Scotts damper ready to go) or flex bars. Those are very high ticket items I can’t do without on my off road bikes.

I'm thinking that it is/was a good thing that I never got into dirt bikes. I's just po' white trash; can't afford that fancy, high dolla' stuff.
