Not the combo I would choose. . . . but, yeah, I'd still eat it. Looks more like mussels than clams though. I'd put the mollusks in some garlic butter, and eat the Ramen separately. Damn it, now I'm hungry again.

Oh forgot these mussels, that's why someone is the expert. I put them side because it gives the soup a bit more of a sea food flavor. Also welcome to my world when I see your cooking.

One of the advantages of living in Tejas. . . . you can find them everywhere. Of course some are better than others.

One of the few foods not on my "get in my belly list". But, my wife gave it a resounding "that's what I'm talking about". Of course she also likes biscuits & gravy, and chicken fried steak. Yeah. . . . she country.

Next concoction, apple sausage, white rice, thin streak, mushrooms, salsa verde and fresh guacamole from a place called homeboy industries. They take formally incarcerated people, give them job at the restaurant here in dtla, ca and life skills for reformation. 20201031_095554.jpg

20201031_165202.jpgtodays means is white rice, stir fried vegetables with Alaska caught black pepper salmon. Topped with red salsa and lemon.
*edit I over cooked the vegetables but i like them squishy and I know I can throw them in the microwave but the fish gives off some flavors which greatly improve the taste of the vegetables.

Also I never paid attention to the aesthetics of food. But lately I noticed that it matters and theres also something satisfying about laying out the food in an orderly fashion.

Speaking of pork. Last night, the neighbor cooked bacon wrapped shrimps. o_O Yeah, I was a pig. . . . but, not a photographer. No pics, sorry.
