I have a 2019 Tenere ES and want to install fog lamps with yellow lenses mainly to be seen better day or night. I don't need to get fancy so a simple on/off switch on the bars would be fine. I have a auxilary pigtail I purchased on ebay for my T 700 which I did not use and am wondering if the 1200 would use the same plug. Where would the auxilary plug be located on the 1200? What lights and mounting brackets would you recommend? Here is a picture of the pigtail!

if the connector is triangular, it is the accessories connector….it is on the right side….above the tool housing….behind the cables….there are the two connectors…4 pins (obd2)….3 pins (auxiliary)… you just have to check that the distribution of the signals (hot, switchable hot, ground)

RE: mounting brackets

Depends on whether you have crash bars or not. I am in the process of installing Denali D3 amber lens running lights on a bike with Altrider upper/lower bars and used the Denali crash bar clamp mounts (which can accommodate many mounting positions). They also make a crossmember running light mount but it probably conflicts with any sort of crashbars.

Your picture of the wiring pigtail seems to show the connector that is compatible to the OEM accessory plug.

My crashbars are also Altrider so if you could send a photo when you finish I would like to see it. Also any likes or dislikes about the install.
Thanks

I am waiting on arrival of a weatherpak connector to finish my install, and will post pictures when complete.

I see you are using the lower Altrider crash bar only - I am using the upper as well, and have mounted the Denali swivel adapters on the upper. Denali sells a lighting crossmember for the S10 that you may want to consider, as it may not interfere with the lower unit.

I ordered the Denali 'Premium Motorsports' wiring harness. It is set up for their Datadim module that lets you control the hi/low beams of the running lights using the stock switch. This is a very high quality harness but overkill for me as I really just want a simple on/off. The downside of this harness is all the extra wire that needs to be bundled up and tucked out of the way somewhere.
