Got what I think is a good deal on a leftover new 2017 and I couldn't be happier. Worked the Yamaha heated grips into the deal, as well. Had never ridden a Tenere before, and I have to say that all of the Moto Magazine types who say it isn't powerful enough are nuts...at least to this average rider. I think it handles well, doesn't feel heavy (even in slow speed maneuvers), has more than sufficient power, is super smooth and stable, etc. Already have a Sargent seat and Madstad windshield on order, which ought to make it about perfect for me. Eventually I'll get crash bars and a skid plate, but it'll be a 98% road bike for me.
Anyway, this site helped a lot in my research, and I appreciate it!
