Loctite has tons of products, could you let me know which product you are referring to? I just completed a 15,000 mile trip, changing the fluid 3 times and have found no evidence of contamination. That being said I would still like to replace it just so I don't have to worry about something happening in the future. Thank you!

having said that, my team routinely repairs molds with it when our micro-welder isn't available or an on-site 3rd shift repair is required. i can't even count how many times a repair like that is never re-addressed with a better solution, its very strong.
i've used it to stick mounting tabs back onto model T transmissions, and have repaired a starter motor with it, that still is in use daily. It can take some abuse.
