The tank cover is made by Baglux. I bought it 12 years ago for my first XT and this is my third XT that it is used on. It has covered at least 200.000 km and is still in as new condition. When touring I mount the expandable Baglux tank bag on it. I treat it twice a year with Leder gris . It is never off the tank and is a great protector

Did the T-Rex perform?
yep worked great, Ophir and Hagerman passes, definitely had some spots the skid plate got tested on. the crash bars actually help in a tip over because the bike doesn't go as far on its side as it would without, so I was able to easily lift it back up. other than some small scuffs on the little plates they add to the outside of the bars you couldn't tell they were actually used. My tip overs were super low speed or stopped and lost footing types of tips thankfully.

Wow, you and I had to have parked with a foot of each other. We went in late March, and were dodging showers throughout the weekend. Trees weren't fully leafed out yet. Looks like an Easter Island Chia Pet.

If you can't tell....I should be on a planned trip, but a high wind warning (gusts up 80mph) right where I was going made me rethink....and cancel.
So I've got PMS and instead of riding I'm posting pix....
I was 450 miles or so into the above mentioned trip when I found out about the high winds so I turned a Uey and headed for the barn. I took this one on the way home.
