Fault Code 44?

I replaced my battery last week and everything seemed fine (done this before). However when I returned from my test ride and shut my engine off I noticed my data screen (right hand screen) looked different. I powered up, not starting the bike, and I could not toggle through the screens. It only shows a Code 44.

Is there a reset sequence I need to do or maybe a fuse to check?

That’s from a Gen1 service manual.

44 suggests an ECU coms problem, but I am unsure whether you have a pre-2017 with diagnostics, or a later bike needing an OBD2 reader/dealer.

That did it!!!!!
I followed the reset sequence per the link you posted and all of my screens returned as described.
I was about to start pulling fuses this morning and thought to check this post before I started. I saw your post followed the link, printed out the steps and I'm good to go!
