I have reflashed 2017 , flash was done by Anthony . This is just my opinion :
Sport - throttle on/off is still way too jerky . When you shift the gears and roll off the throttle it's while pulling in the clutch it slows down drastically and sends you over to the tank so you have to keep the throttle slightly open to avoid that . Roll on is very snatchy too , you can't get "sloppy" with the throttle at all . If it was a track bike than yeah I get it , but for adventure bike that goes off road , throttle is way too sensitive if I could put it that way . Engine braking should be reduced by another 25% . Also if you have cruise control on and disengage it slows down drastically and sends you on to the tank , so again just like with gear shifts you have to keep the throttle open .
Touring - throttle on/off is buttery smooth , gear changes are smooth , no jerking . Engine braking should be reduced 35% it's too rough for my liking . If you cancel cruise control in this mode it nicely slows down without sending you on to the tank .
This is my personal opinion , but super flash for the Super Tenere would be :
Sport - throttle on/off in all gears like just like in Touring mode , but with the full power of the Sport mode . Engine braking reduced 25% from what it is now and smooth cruise control cancelation .
Touring - I would leave everything as it is and just reduce engine braking by 35% .
I would actually prefer same engine braking in both riding modes.
Just my two cents worth , but if I could find somebody that could reflash ECU to my personal preference I just explained - bike would be absolutely perfect .
