Where can I get these? They’re not in the Yamaha parts fiche that I can find. Had an off-road tip over and didn’t notice it missing until later. Bags weren’t mounted at the time.

someone here posted that he drilled a small hole across the the rubber shoe throught the metal peg then knocked a roll pin in to lock it into place.

It is my biggest worry that it pops off at camp or at the hotel and i lose it, but I am aware that they do come off so when I remove my cases I take them off and put them into my top box.

Looks like i'll roughen the inside of the block with some sand paper and put a dab of silicone on there to semi-permanently glue it there.

Thanks for the notice :)

I was thinking of a similar solution myself the roll pin idea sounds like a good one.

Mine are (were) glued on with super glue per the Yamaha installation instructions. Guess my “off” was enough to peel it off. The right one still feels tightly adhered though.

Super glue on mine. I always finger-wet the rubber (saliva in most cases) before putting the case on. This acts as lubricant. Never had a problem.

Yeah, mine were super-glued on as well. This is part of the installation instructions actually. Never a problem in 50K miles (without the need to spit on the bumpers) either. I’m sure loosing mine was a result of the particular way the bike went down and slid in the dirt/mud. Had the bags been mounted I wouldn’t have lost it but would likely damaged the side case instead.
