I got hit for 899.... I had no idea you could buy it cheaper through other dealers. I wish there was someway I could cancel and re-buy it through this group buy.
That is crazy, I would make sure not to go back to that dealer any longer, unless they gave you a jacket, helmet or something to help lick your wounds.

Just read this and will definitly be purchasing it next month. Any chance of it going up or away? If so may need to scrape the penny jar out! little over 400 for the warranty is MORE thqan reasonable ;D

Got 200 off my grip heaters (Non-es '14). But they sort of pissed me off as I had to pay an extra 140 in taxes due to the way they priced the bike. There was a manufacturer rebate that I was understanding to be a dealer discount on the price of the bike since it was a hold over from '14 still for sale in '15. My understanding was that Yamaha was offering an additional manufacturer rebate of 1k off the price if I had traded in a bike, which turned out to be in addition to a 1500 Manufacturer rebate. (You don't pay taxes on dealer incentives/markdowns - but you do pay taxes on Manufacturer rebates...) But I didn't want to sell my KLR. Should've offered them the PW50 though.... LOL

If it does go up, it won't be until 2016.

I just got my warranty card from ET. It was a simple phone call with the vin and my cc info.
Awesome price and service.

Thanks Bloodline and ET. The next time I am in NC I will check out the shop.

Does factory warranty start at date of sale?

My left over 13 was first purchased on 5-15-2015, so is it still under the factory warranty and eligible for the extended warranty?

Do you offer warranties on bikes that the factory warranty expired?

I just purchased a 4-year extension from the OP's uncle, E.T. That was too easy. Thanks!

Thread resurrection in 3... 2... 1...

Bought a little piece of mind today from Our good friend ET at Yamaha of West Jefferson, NC. In the 6yrs since we last spoke, the price for 4 years YES coverage went up $50 so I can't really complain about that. I had to use the warranty on my previous machine (the dreaded piss-poor camchain tensioner) so it came in very handy... here's hoping this time it just collects dust.
