Eureka Springs/NW AR routes?

I've got a couple buddies going this way with me in 10 days and am trying to get some nice routes planned around the neat little town of Eureka Springs. We'll be down late afternoon Friday and riding all day Saturday hammock camping before heading back Sunday.

Any notable blacktops/highways worth riding? They're riding sportsters, so it's limited to the hardball roads, unfortunately. Not enough S10's in Iowa yet ::007::

I'll email you a great route that's 208 miles, but 5 hours 58 minutes of riding. It's all paved, curvy and beautiful. I would post it up here, but file size is restricted to 250k and this file is 277k. Had to add a few waypoints to keep you on paved roads.

Is that November ride route going to be two-up friendly or are you guys planning on mostly off road? Wife probably wouldn't mind mozying around with me down there... ::008::

Karson, I pick "big bike friendly" routes which are usually a mixture of dirt roads and highway about 50/50. Jaxon really enjoyed the routes we picked out and there were no "goat trails" involved.

Two up is depending on your experience but the gravel roads are not very technical for sure.

For a neat little diversion, look up hwy 125 (if memory serves right) that goes to Bull Shoals lake. The ferryboat crossing is a intresting deal to do. My other half and I took all that in on the FJR last year along with the regular roads that lead to it and on over around to Branson. Gotta love the twisties up there.

pretty much cant go wrong riding anywhere in arkansas its all beutiful i enjoyed it more than any of my rides in colorado
