Thanks for the welcome! I’ve been motorcycling most of my life. Started in the dirt on a Yamaha 80. Did some roadracing in the 80’s. Then we got into boating and I didn’t ride much, had an Electra glide and did some commuting and going to watch some races. Then after we got out of boating I met a S!0 rider at work that does iron butt rallies on his. So I figured it must be comfortable and set out to buy one. I ended up finding a 15 ES with only 2,400 miles that came with a set of K3’s, a set of PIAA lights, skid plate, factory crash bars and factory hard boxes.
I’ve been enjoying the bike a great deal, and hope to try and do some distance riding after retirement.1DDF18C3-0282-4F84-917C-CF5688D8740B.jpeg

That you Verne? Welcome to the forum. Take a moment to fill out your profile with your location. City, state or just state is fine. It gives context to your posts and helps others to answer questions better, or better understand your answers.

I hope your transition to retirement goes smoothly.

Welcome! I, too, have a '15 ES and live in Ohio (west of Columbus). I expect you'll really enjoy your S10.

Thanks! I’m like a vagabond or gypsy I’ve lived in and around Dayton, Columbus & Cincinnati maybe we’ll pass on the road one day.

Thank you for the welcome and concern. I’m fine the area I grew up in and work in 1 day a week did not fare so well. I think there were 13 tornadoes! One ifvthe biggest ones was on the ground for over 20 minutes & over 20 miles. There are no words to describe it. Amazing there’s not been more fatalities than 1 so far and 1 still missing.
