engine noise on accelerating

when acceleratine on 5 , 6 gear and around 4,000 rpm their is a noisy sound looks like comming maybe from the engine for a second only
on other gear when acceleratine every thing cool

any clue?

Is your bike a 1st Gen? 2010-2013? If so, the clutch basket could be a source of the noise. My 2012 would bark if accelerating hard in 5th-6th gears.

I rode my gen1 for the first time in years without my earbuds. It sounded like a bag of bolts and washers. I put my buds back in and all is good.

The engine of a S10 when running does in fact sound like a piece of Soviet era farm machinery.
