Hello,
I’m based in London, UK
The rear shock on my 2014 S10with electronic suspension has failed.
Does anyone have experience of this & if it is possible to repair or if it’s only possible to replace with a new or used rear shock?

Thanks in advance

A good call from @bimota - is it the damper or the pre-load servo, or indeed both, that has failed?

Tell us more about the issue.

Thanks Bimota,
Contacted MCT earlier, impressed by them. Had a previous bikes suspension updated by Jason in 2019.
The shock is being removed & sent to them for next week.
Shock was leaking, little/no damping left.

When it comes to suspension a lot of people talk about progressive springs. MCT always seem to go linear.

yes,

if its going in to be worked on i,d advice them on your weight, do you carry passenger luggage etc, as it may need a better spring

Absolutely, I’ll be speaking to him early next week. He sorted the suspension on my Tiger XC, worked through weight loading, & completely transformed the bikes handling/feel.

I test road an XC and it was a lot better than the road version. I knew it needed doing anyway so kind of priced it in.
