Hello,
Quick question about the electronic manuals. How much do they suck? I see that Yamaha has them on a subscription service so, in my mind, that typically means proprietary systems that leave something to be desired. Is the system generally solid and works all the time? Can you print sections of the book?
My typical SOP is to have an electronic copy for research in the house and office. I'll then print a paper copy off for the garage. I also like to keep a PDF on my iPad and phone for those oh shit moments.
Unless somebody has a line I haven't seen yet I'm thinking my best bet is to buy the paper manual, cut the spine off of it, and scan it. Then punch it and stuff it in a binder for the garage. Sometimes it helps to run an IT department as I have access to all sorts of resources
Thanks
