echo four romeo, a forum member has died. he passed away july 31 2017, a drunk driver took him out..... I write this now because I just found out about this a few days ago , about a year late.... I had the pleasure of meeting him once at a steak house gathering of tenere riders at Winchester texas about 3 years ago. and he and I rode back to buda and had a chance to visit awhile.... young ,very nice , a whole life ahead of him ended because of a drunk.... now a bit of a back story... a week ago a friend wrecked his bike and ended up being star flighted to a san Antonio military hospital , my neighbor Richard who is well known in the dual sport world asked me to go see our friend . after the visit Richard said he would do a write up on the forum two wheeled Texans ... so the next day I look and do not find the post , so I lurk around and open ,gone but not forgotten . saw RIP echo four romeo ..... I know that handle , this cant be , but sadly it is ..... seems a few Yamaha tenere forum members paid their respects on TWT not realizing he was a Yamaha tenere forum member..... so if you go to TWT you will find the info and pictures of him ..... some how we missed this , the anniversary of his passing is Tuesday the 31st..... I got to know him over about 4 hours , others that know him or who have met him may not know either..... breaks my heart....

So sorry to hear this. I never met him that I know of but that doesn't change the way I feel when another fellow rider looses his life doing what we love. By the information on this site he was 32 and had a long life ahead of him. So sad. I feel and pray for his family.
Thanks Madhatter for letting everyone know.

I also met him that day in Winchester. He was a good guy. I sat near him at the table and we talked quite a bit.

I was also there and met him that day. We headed out after lunch riding but the group split in two after and he went another direction so never spoke again.

He left a wife and small child. So senseless and unfair for his life to be cut short being murdered by a drunk driver.

Im so sorry to hear this! Anyone knows what happened to the POS drunk? I’m sure there is a slime bag lawyer thinking of excuses for this vermin.

tomorrow would be the one year anniversary of his accident and passing .... ride safe means never trust the other driver for your safety ..... tomorrow would be a hard day for his family , give a moment of thought or prayer to his family .

 Such a waste of life, we contend with Drunks, druggies and now stupid useless fools texting totally irrelevant shit while driving that can wait.
It's sad and my condolences go out to the families with a prayer.. :(
God look over us all...
