I gave the panniers for two reasons: first, because obstructing the beauty of exhausts and second, because I can survive only with the travel bag GIVI top and a waterproof bag of 40 liters of the same brand. See how my ST is now:

Heyder this new configuration looks much better. The pipes are awesome. Are the lights in the Givi brake, tail, and signal? Also where did you get your rear fender? It looks very similar to mine which was from HLD in Greece?

Beautiful! and practical!! Sounds just like my bike with 1 exhaust...but I like how the exhaust is dumped further back which keeps the sound, but if one doesn't like the sound it is more quiet being that the sound is further back! Looks like there would be no problem adding pannier racks and panniers. The turn signals look even more visible which adds safety. I'd be curious about performance difference and how the engine is overall effected. Also like how the pipes and exhaust are out of the way of the tires. You did a great job of thinking of everything and it looks great! Besides cost, I can't think of ANY reason why not! Good job!!!

Looks like a good opportunity for one to make some monies making and selling these.....?

That exhaust is so cool. Would love to do something like that on my bike. Did you fabucate the pipes yourself? BTW how do you guy's highlight your wheels like that? Something else I would like to do
I bought the tubes in the Mercado Livre of Brazil (eBay of you). Originally they are for the BMW 800R. I just made the adaptations. As for reflective adhesives, you can do on any graphics that work with adhesives. Here in Brazil you buy everything in the Mercado Livre.

I did not make any modification or adjustment on the motor or motorcycle injection. I also have not noticed any change in their behavior, either in the city or on the road. Consumption continued the same.

Yamaha should have built it this way right from the start. Excellent work and it looks superb and sounds lovely, well done!

@Heyder - Where did you get, (or did you fabricate?), the left and right exhaust covers that are bolted to the bike? They add a very finished, OEM look to the bike. Nicely done.

Re: Dual Exhaust X-Race (w/ pics)

Thank´s. I want to install the GIVI Trekker 46L (top) and 33L (side), but the $$ is little now... :'(

Who did that say? ::005:: I can to take luggage. The space between the baggage and the motorcycle is enough to fit the exhaust. I thought about this before! ::008::

In Brazil... T$o B$ot$er$... ::010:: But... the sound.. Yes!!!!!!! ::003::

Great job! You will be able to fit GV trekker bags as the racks are very tight to the exhaust.

I sold my blue ST and bought a yellow commemorative series. She is particularly beautiful!
I made the same modifications to it, with some modifications to the "Y" pipe because in the DX version (ZE from europe), in the outlet pipe for the right exhaust, there is the place of the suspension electronics.
