Wow why do you choose to live in such a terrible place ?

The type of car someone drives does not dictate their status in society. Plenty of scammers, scums, slimeballs, panhandlers, etc drive fancy cars.

I do shop there but only when I have too. No judgement on my part just experience of what I have seen at Walmart over the years. Of the few times I go there I always see people shoplifting, fighting, arrests, etc. Even loading multiple shopping carts with oil and wont share even one bottle.

Normal law abiding shoppers at Walmart are an exception rather than the rule. Don't take my word for it. Just go to any Walmart across our country and see for yourself. Last time I went there was a parking lot full of used gloves and masks littering the parking lot.

And let's not forget all the homeless motorhomes dumping black water toilet tanks into the parking lots. And women tossing used
baby diapers in parking spaces. This is very unsanitary and not enforced at Walmart.

I see a new career and calling in life for Chris. Get a job at his local Wal-mart and clean it up, turn it around.
No thank you. Of course a driving job I might try. Walmart drivers are getting 32.00 per hour plus overtime.

I live in a great place in a different city. Living in a parking lot behind dumpsters is not my style.

Keeping my helmet on inside a gas station to pay for fuel at the counter and/or grab a cold bottle of pop, sure. Anything beyond that, no, it's coming off.

WalMart, I shop there probably 3x a month on average at locations around the Detroit area and I've never seen any shoplifting, police making arrests, etc. I occasionally see the same rude behavior by some customers at WM as I do at grocery stores, restaurants, home improvement stores and other businesses - WM doesn't have a lock on this.

What a narrow, opinionated view. Shucks, you can go to the Beverly Center, and find an ample supply of used diapers in the parking garage. And most "upper" class shopping centers, and stores, have the same problems, they just do a better job at hiding it. Is WalMart worse than the others? Sure, that is what they cater to, and where else is a middle class guy like me going to go for a classy fashion show?

Go to Target, you think it is much better? I have been to many WalMarts, many in SoCal, and it ain't that bad. Of course, it is what you make it.

In the town I live in, no other store than WalMart for general merchandise, and the closest Target is 60 miles away.

All he more reason to not even go into any retail outlet unless it's absolutely necessary. A lot of humans have on blinders and simply are not aware of their surroundings. So they don't see the crime and unsavory human behavior. I made that almost fatal error at the beginning of the year and almost lost my life because of it. It was a split second lapse in judgement that almost cost me my life. I figured I was safe. After all it was Newport Beach CA. in a multi million dollar neighborhood. Turned my head for less than a few seconds to do my job and now I'm permanently disabled because of it.

When I go out in public my head is on a swivel. I'm always looking for danger and behavioral issues anywhere I am. I am looking at the worst possible case that can happen. If a rude manager or some jerk cop cusses at me for no reason and tells me to leave the property I do no questions asked. Walking around in public with a helmet and having limited hearing and peripheral vision is not very smart and borderlines on stupid.

I just used the "ignore" feature on here for the first time. I've seen enough of this made up BS crap.
I make fun of and joke about a lot of subjects. This is not one of them.

Pruning shears are out and posts attacking other members have been deleted. Keep it up and we can open up Time Out Corner.

If somebody is posting an opinion and you think it's trash, you don't need to get dirty playing.

Life changes at the blink of an eye. I'm really struggling to trust being around the general public. I have not been to a Walmart in over a month. I get a sick pit in my stomach when I go shopping at any of them. Even in the better Walmarts in in Orange County there is always some kind of drama going on. I'm just sick of dealing with it.

The law says wear a mask for probably the remainder of my life at least. To me a mask is a helmet if I'm on a motorcycle. No one has ever questioned me wearing a helmet instead of a $0.02 Chinese mask in Walmart or anywhere else. None of them do anything to help you against the virus, just someething to make others feel more safe. Around here at least if your mouth is covered, don't matter $0.02 if you use a 2x4 piece of wood in front of your face, a helmet or a $0.02 Chinese mask, a wad of used paper towells. As long as your mouth is covered is all that matters. None do anything, take your choice. No one cares here.
