Lots, and lots of elbow grease. I keep my rims clean, but, to me. . . . cleaning spokes. . . . the juice ain't worth the squeeze.

Yeah, I'm thinking of taking a hard(ish) nylon brush to them with some degreaser. Don't expect them to come out good as new, just want to make them a little shinier for the next 20,000 miles.

luckily in the uk bike was 12months old with 12 months warranty left, showed them how bad the spokes were and they put a warranty claim in, yamaha said they would rebuild the wheels, lucky the yamaha dealer agreed that the,d look shit again pretty quick.
,
so they gave me new spokes and paid for the rebuild, i sold the 2 sets of spokes on ebay as they are crap and HAGON suspension in the UK who make stainless spokes rebuilt them with stainless the stainless spokes were about £85 a set so £170 i didnt pay for rebuild yamaha did but that was 5 years ago and my wheels are stunning

i think they charge about £60 a wheel for the rebuild
