What is this work thing you speak of?

I realize I am old, but in the distant past I had to wake up waaay to early, clean up and wear better clothes than jamies and ride or drive for 20 minutes or so. Then I was bored for 8-9 hours and rode home for 40 minutes (or drove for 20). There were nights that I had to stay awake from 8 pm until 10, midnight or a few times 4-6 am.

I think that was work.

I did pay my dues. Great job, good company, and best of all, a good pension and 401k. After 30 years, I had enough. Retirement is marvelous!
