Hi folks....just got my hands on a 2012 ST which I am working to clean up a bit. I wanted to put on one of those dash shelf infill pieces but can't seem to find it online. Any tips on where to find will be greatly appreciated. I may resort to building my own in case anyone has a good blueprint to share. Thanks in advance.

What was the the reply @dannyv ?

I've tried to buy them twice, only to have them out of stock for months and then decided to make it myself (if I ever get around to that)

Yeah, I made the same thing.. just need to buy a piece of black ABS and cut it out.
I think each time I get to that point I realize that it costs the same for the material as ordering one, then I stop and forget about it ;-)

I saw this 2 models in other forum. Not bad, but I would prefer with a little vertical box, for put something. I'm still thinking....

I like the idea of one, but will it make getting to the headlight lamp covers a problem if a lamp needs changing? I have had to replace blown ones during trips and I like the easy access, compared to most other bikes I have owned.

I am getting more made up but the machine shop is backed up with bigger fi$h to fry orders for Los Alamos National Lab.
Problem i have is it cost money to get made and without knowing how many riders want a dashboard i limit it to a batch of 12.
Not making that much of a profit as most go's to the shop and free shipping.
So this is the reason for the sporadic sales, if i had a way to get a good head count as i tried this last time through PM.
I wound up getting reply's through the thread and PM, that made it confusing as all hell.
Then i get riders from overseas wanting for me to try and ship it for cheap, that just doesn't happen in the real world.
Hate asking for deposits as that wouldn't be right.
please be patient..
Yeah you can make flat boards but then you drill holes to mount them from the top, the ones i have made has the shape and fits directly to the side holes.
Grumpy, you're correct on the headlight change, doesn't matter what the shape is it's a mother to get the cap off and then try to snap the clip back all while shredding the top of your hands.
I wind up pulling the dashboard off to do this as i have to many scars and loss of patient's to snake around it.
In short it's faster to pull off the dash to change a bulb.

I found this a while back- not sure where? (here?)
Or who made it?

Nice, just stumbled on this pattern and was inspired so decided to make a friday night project. A few variations, but some 3/8" aluminum and a jigsaw made for some fun! Need to source some matte black spray paint and then will finish mounting. Cheers!

The Gen I and Gen II infills were shaped a little different, weren't they?
