Dash Infill Power Outlets (What did you do)

Just received the Dash Infill (Thanks LB Products)

I plan on cutting a few hole then painting or coating it to match the gray / black 2014 S10 ES.

But would love to see what others have done to limit my wasted effort. (tried searching the forum but seem to get overwhelmed with non related information)

So asking for anyone to post what brands / part numbers / paints / coatings / wiring methods or details you have used.

I live in Florida so no heated gear required and so far I only use 3 chargeable items when I ride, but interested in having a trickle charger / tire pump outlet to lessen the need to remove plastic panels. (It does rain hard here so water protection is a must)

I have a GPS Garmin, iPhone 5S and Sena 20S that are on most of the time when I ride further than the local GYM.

I am not an Electrical Engineer but know a fair amount about electronics and wiring.

Thanks for any inputs .. except where to stick it ..

I got a generic set of 12v, two 2 port USB and a voltmeter.

Coated it with plastidip that I held further away han they tell you to give it a texture finish. Ran some car door edge protector stuff on it to protect the cables/hoses/wires on the bars.

All wired into a 15 amp fuse on a 3 connection Eastern Beaver relay/fuse set up.

Just installed it tonight.

That looks great, but I want to see what it looks like underneath!
When I put mine in with only a switch and wiring for my turn signal dash indicators, all that wiring was a bitch to get to.
Installing the plate underneath requires the wires to be long for installation, but after installing the plate,
you don't have room to access them to tie-up.

Ya, it's a bit of a rats nest under with.

While I don't have the dash infill panel on my Gen 1, I did find it a lot easier to remove the headlight assembly when I was running wires in the area for my lighting controls.
