.. and now it's almost dead, I have a buy a new suit and pants.

I want to change for another brand to compare, plus to be honest I took some pounds and the "old" suit became too small especially because Im wearing job stuff under.
What good brand I could buy, I'm in Switzerland riding by all weather (except snow)

thanks for your help.

PS : I castrated the cat

I am very partial to Aerostitch but I suspect dealing with them from Switzerland might be a challenge. There product though is custom made for each customer and their warranty is unbelievable

I assume you castrated the cat after? I am thinking if you did it before he might have been displaying his displeasure........

hehe, no I did it after but not for that reason however :D I did it because having a "full" cat in an apartment is a nonsense, and maybe just having animals in an apartment is a nonsense but that is another debate.

Thanks for the feedback

Ps : I never saw this brand in Switzerland yet

I am ver happy with my HELD quattrotempi gear, made in Germany. Tough, puuuurty, wet/dry, cold/hot. Far better than rev-it for example! Did I mention being very happy with it?
Yesterday I tested both REV IT (defender 3 I guess) and the HELD (I don't know which model) and both were good except the REV IT had 3 layers with 3 different zippers which was annoying, but comfortable, so I'll take inconsideration your feedback about HELD and i'm going to test it again next Saturday, thank you.

I'm happy with my Klim kit, Badlands Pro trousers and an Overland jacket, plenty of vents and totally dry. I'm currently in Scotland and did a 200 mile ride in pouring rain and not a drop got in.

It took 6 months (yes 6) to order a full KLIM set for my wife, KLIM was my first choice, but I won't wait 6 more months , maybe in 5 years but this one will be destroyed or sold.

Thanks for the feedback

Just changed to a Halvarssons jacket and pants. Both 100% waterproof. Well thought out with vents and pockets.
I will try to find 1 but I never saw this brand here in Switzerland, like Aerostitch and KLIM, I suspect Switzerland is not very friendly with Americans, that's why they avoid USA products but maybe it is just in my head.

Thanks for the feedback

Rukka or KLIM laminated suits are my recommendation, due to the outer layer being Goretex waterproof and not having to mess about with liners in and out. I’m aware that other brands do Goretex or similar laminated suits, however these two are IMO the best and most trustworthy brands in this market. I currently have a Rukka suit, which has performed as I’d expect it to, however I’ll go KLIM next time, as I prefer the shell only system with layering up underneath. I also think the ventilation is better for summer use. A quick google search highlighted a few KLIM dealers in Switzerland.

Halvarssons, I’ve had one of these suits for about 8 years, it leaks (from almost day one) like a two bob suit, I now only wear it on shorter rides, or days out when it’s very unlikely to rain. It’s a very comfy suit to wear, has great venting and is much lighter than the Rukka.

We have KLIM dealers here, the problem is they all told me it needs KLIM 4 to 6 months to send the stuff. I think KLIM don't care about xtra small markets.

Oh, I assumed you meant online. That’s quite shocking wait times through a dealer network.

Good luck with your purchase.

aerostich.com. They only have the factory store. The majority of their sales are online

aerostich as "Wall Keeper" says is a factory store . it is a build to order store . their one piece suits are expensive ,but are custom built to the buyers specification .... best to go there and have a custom fitting so that it is right from the get go. they used to have what they call a "pop up" event all over the USA . I went to one in Ft. Worth Texas and had a fitting done on site. pandemic killed that . hope to see them doing the pop up events again . KLIM would be my 2nd choice , not a custom fit , but off the rack sizing works well . probably more expensive than aero stitch on some items .
and cats are evil little creatures . and cats are all about them selves. never seen a cat try and protect some one . just saying.

I have experienced this pissing on clothing articles twice with female spayed cats. The first time the cat died shortly afterwords from an illness. The second time we took the cat in for an exam. Kidney problems with stones and blood in the urine. Maybe your cat is trying to tell/show you something. I don't leave my gear lying around anymore and the missus doesn't object to that. Cat's are strange animals, we keep cats and dogs and we have always been happier with dogs. Dogs have personalities and can be reasoned with. Unconditional love.
About the replacement suit: be good to yourself, you'll be dead a long time :)

Lindstrands is the sister company (whatever that means) to Halverssons and are a Swedish company.

Seeing that you live in Switzerland
Have you considered some Italian stuff?
There is not just Dainese.
Clover, Alpinestar and many more...
Just another suggestion

I would give Ruuka Rapto-R a good look!
I’ve had Revi’t Dominator and is currently in a Klim Badlands PRO.
Ruuka haven’t been famous for good ventilation but this have plenty of it.
Rapto-R is much softer and a top of the line equipment.
The only reason why I didn’t buy it was that it only excist in dark coulors and I whant light coulors.
