It's black and looks fine. Obviously it's good with getting wet, I wonder how it will hold up in the heat / sunlight when you don't have a bag on top? Will it warp?

Just did a 3000 mile trip in 90 degrees......without the bag most of the time and it held up just fine.

I used a HDPE cutting board as a baseto move a Givi 52L Maxxia box aft 3" for my passenger. It was white and just visible here.

A lot of Marine Supply places carry UHMW as its used a lot in sailing due to the self lubricating properties. It's also very strong since it's considered a fiber reinforced product. I've seen it used as skid plates for 4x4 trucks too. Just another option. Often found in sheets in varying thicknesses like 1/2" thru 3/4". I've used it for similar projects in the past.

do you have access to a router? you can taper or feather out those slots to clean it up a bit....


not trying to be critical or reinvent your MOD, just a suggestion as it is the only thing that might grab an eye.....looks fine to me.
