Hi,
During my last 2 rides, I noticed the display of the temperature of the liquid cooling, the CTEMP, which was a little bit strange.
Outside temperature was less than 10 degrees, when the CTEMP reaches around 70/80 degrees celcius, its display varies very quickly, up or down without having changed radically the way I drive .
For example, at 78° the display goes down to 70° directly, goes up to 73 then 78 in a few seconds, then continues to go up and down.
Before 70° and after 80/85°, the T° goes up or down normally, in successive stages depending on the driving style.
I send a video of the speedometer unit to the garage where I bought my bike, and the feedback from the workshop foreman was : "it's normal, the sensor is very sensitive, like on the FJR, we has already changed it sometimes but it's the same thing afterwards, the important thing is that it triggers the fan at 105°".
Question: have you noticed or are you aware of such a functioning of this display?
Eric
