Hey all, for a while my cruise light would flash only sometimes, it was intermittent - would work after startup but eventually would flash until the next shutdown. Lately it pretty much never works.

I have sprayed contact cleaner in the clutch and brake switches, no luck, and then i replaced the brake switch with a new one (just prior to the recall announcement). No luck.

So I'm looking for tips on what to check next. Thanks

So you have a 2014 ES/ZE & has a CC issue last year, which had settled.........for a while.

'Diag mode' , available though the dash, may help provide codes that can guide us. However, you will be aware from searching old threads that this is a relatively common issue that can be frustrating/difficult to track down as there are so many sensors that influence CC , but is usually something simple.

Personally I would go with @gv550 & check the bike in for a new front BL switch under the terms of the recall, citing the fact that CC has been dropping out - let the dealer do the legwork.

Definitely have the recall done. You have probably just installed another old design switch and it’s still faulty.
