Mastech PN103.009 Side Engine Guards. These are what I have. Similar design, and price. Sturdy mounting point(s). Enough protection for my needs.

I keep looking at those Cross Pro bars too. For some reason there is something about them that puts me off, but I can't put my finger on it. For damn near the same money the Heed bars look better and the feedback I have read is positive too.

I understand. Even the Canada folks are getting priced out of the US markets with current taxes, extra shipping costs and fees. Motorcycle parts are duty free, but that's not much help with the added fees and VAT.

One way to minimize the shipping costs is to get several people together for a group buy. That spreads out the air cargo fees over several sets. This is what I had to do for Rumbux imports. The first group buy worked well, but someone has to be the cat herder and do all the paperwork, 'own' the shipment, etc.

Thanks for all the suggestions, the Mastech's do look interesting but will be pricey in the UK. I'm after a set of light to medium duty bars, the T-Rex ones while I'm sure are very good are a bit over the top for me.
The Heed's do look very good value but again are a bit bigger than I was thinking off.
At the moment the Givi's are at the top of my list.

I will keep researching....they say "buy in haste, regret at leisure..."

That's works well , as you have a lot more S10 owners on one continent, and so currency etc is not an issue. In the UK or even EU, S10's are still rare, mores the pity, otherwise I would undertake such a excursion......

I'm not sure I agree with S10s being all that rare in the EU. They have been out since 2010 after all. Sure, the US has more people and more bikes, but you only need 5 people to make things cost out reasonably well.

Look at Kappa KN355. Identical to the Givi (kappa is owned by Givi) but cheaper.

Will the T-Rex Crash Bars fit with an ACD skid Plate on a 2018?
It should be no problem. T-Rex specifically designs their stuff to work with other brands in mind. Their though, as told to me by their designer, was that people may want to run some other skid plate with their crash bars or vise versa and they didn't want to limit their customers to only running their stuff.

I have seen some set ups where you did need to stack things at shared mounting points. Don't be afraid of doing this. But do spring for the stud mod so it's easier at the engine mount points. It will just make life a lot easier when you do oil changes.
