Picked up a used but great condition leather Corbin seat from a member and love it more each time I ride.

Just as important as the seat I have corrected the way I sit on the bike, and it has helped my posture and comfort greatly. But to be fair, the Corbin seat facilitates this better for me than the stock seat. I am able to sit on the back part of the seat with the balls of my feet on the pegs and arms relaxed on the bars.

Since my original post I have had quite a few hours of seat time on the Corbin. It works for me better than I could have hoped. I can comfortably ride for two hours or more with no sore bum.

i think they look great also. The leather is of great quality.

Bought a used Corbin seat for my 2013 Tenere, I only used it for a couple hundred miles on the 2013 because it was very slippery and I simply wasn’t used to riding on a slippery seat.
Last fall after buying a new 2018 Tenere and still not liking the stock seat I decided to give the Corbin another try, I put 2,700 miles on the Corbin last week and for me it’s definitely way more comfortable than the stock seat ! The only drawback for me is it’s slippery. I think maybe the original owner put Armorall or something on it that so far I’ve been unable to wash off. One morning when we left a motel the seat was wet from rain and that seemed to cure the slippery part very nicely but the next day it was back to being slippery again.

Does the Corbin permit the high and low settings? If I recall it didn’t on my 07 FJR. I had to put a Sargent on it in order to get to the high position. I’ve got a Sargent on my S10 but have to wonder if I just have a Corbin butt. Both Sargents I’ve had are certainly better than stock but never quite as comfy as the Corbin’s I’ve had over the years. I’ve been keeping an eye open for used S10 Corbin’s but have yet to come across one to buy in order to find out.

Involute Yes my Corbin seat can easily be installed in either the high or low position just like the stock seat. I happen to prefer the low position and the different heights are about as close to the stock seat as you could get. For me the forward lean problem is completely gone when using the Corbin, I’ve ridden it over 500 miles in a day very comfortable ,other than being more slippery than I prefer it’s been great.
