Has anyone with this bike tried shimming the cush drive (shown at 2:15)for a little bit tighter throttle response?

I know some people have done harder bumpers (whatever they are called) in the KTM cush drives for that purpose. Maybe someone makes something similar for the S10? Or a harder one from another Yamaha might work? If a Vmax has a cush drive I would bet on the bumper things being harder. Or an R1 or something.
