Yesterday, 10/30/21, I bought my 2013 S10. The former owner nicely brought it up to me from 30 minutes away (his wife drove separately). Actually, it was his best friend's bike and his friend died of COVID last November! :-( (The title was properly handled to get to me). It looks practically in mint condition (8k+ miles). I took it for a ride around the neighborhood yesterday and it was easier than I thought it would be. I was kinda intimidated having not ridden anything but a Suzuki 250 (MSF class bike), and 30 minutes on my buddy's Honda Shadow. At one quiet stop sign I dropped it. :-( Only very minor scratches. I wish I had a video to see how I did that and learn from it. Not sure how I got off balance...maybe my wheel was turned. Nevertheless, I'm pumped! I don't have to tell the rest of you that this bike becomes the best looking bike after a while. ;-)

Congratulations, that is a real clean looking '13 S10 with a nice set of aftermarket seats, a nice pair of side cases,
an aftermarket skid plate, a side stand foot extender and a set of Michelin Anakees 3s.
Do yourself a big favor and get some crash bars ASAP!
It appears that the PO removed the factory side protectors that are mounted right below the lower panels which means
you currently have nothing to protect the left side mounted radiator in the event of a hard drop on the left.

Thanks for the tip about the missing side protectors. I hadn’t noticed. There actually are crash bars and I will get them when they clean out a storage unit that belong to the deceased former owner. Too bad they weren’t already on there. :)

Nicely trimmed out! As I mentioned just now in another post, crash bars are coming from the deceased owners storage unit. Not sure when but it sounded like that was a soon-upcoming task.

Good looking bike, and it's the #1 color, too. Missing from my pic is the Altrider skid I took off to install the Arrow header. Staying on-road for now until my next oil/filter change, then the skid goes back on. Like other have said, get whatever side protection you have back on ASAP; as you've already learned, it's not if but when the Super T decides to take a nap on you.

Hey Pilleway,
Where'd you get your nice red striping and the Tenere tank decal? :)
Also, I don't think I've seen those particular crash bars. They seem to leave your radiator a bit exposed, no?
